Combines STS vs Case vs New Holland

STS seems to have better standard rock protection than CIH, but that is not a big issue to us out in CA high yielding crops. The Caterpillar seems to provide the best overall feeding, thrshing, and grain quality. New Holland just isn't a viable player.

Sorry, I didn't know it was rude to use all caps. larry, I have been scrolling down to see if anyone will tell you how to get the rotor out of an STS. You don't have to pull the engine but you do have to remove all of the tines from the rotor to get out of the front of the machine. I really don't think you could remove them from a plugged machine. About the clog at the farm show. I have been told that the chopper belt was removed and sensor for the chopper was shorted so as not to give the operator an alarm to stop.
