Combines Straw chopper on 1460

I dont think the spreader drive can deliver enough HP or rpm for a chopper. If you installed the factory chopper drive gearbox ( it replaces the rotor drive jackshaft) it should power any chopper you could hang back there. I remember looking at the drive for a straw storm chopper_spreader, complicated and not cheap.

A chopper takes HP the straw spreader belt drive wouldn't work. Redekop makes a aftermarket straw chopper for IH combines.
