Are you operating with keystock separator grates instead of small grain gratesIJ Are you using large wire or small wire concaves in frontIJ Are your vanes set in a retarded position in the rearIJ

I have keystock grates and small wire grate and the vanes are retarded does this help anyIJ

I'd suggest that the crossbars on the keystock grates have more of a retarding effect than desired. This is forcing straw thru them to the shoe. If you don't have the flat small grain grates available, you may be able to block off a portion of the keystocks on the right side where you'll find most straw dropping thru, to allow the straw to ride more easily over the grate crossbars. You may also find that blocking off the whole front 1_2 of the the front keystock may help even more. If you're getting good thresh, speeding up the vanes over the rear separation area may help, as well. Hope this is clear.
