I ran an F way back in 1976 on the wheat harvest run that was equipped with a Bycool unit. Thing worked well, and was so simple that you would be hard-pressed to have to fix anything. It does work much better in regions with lower humidity, and will keep the cab comfortable, if not really cold. However, you had to take a garden hose to it and wash it out real well every few days, or it would grow algae and start smelling like a river bank. It always gave fair warning when it was time to be cleaned! Took about 5 gallons of water a day when it was really hot. Is a cheaper alternative to AC, though, and easier to keep running. Didn't like the extra height on the top of the cab, but that was only important when trailering the machine. Hope this helps in your decision making.
