Combines 8 Row corn head

If you are in area where 150-plus corn is normally possible, you have too much head for a 750--will definately need 3rd lift cyl. Best way to answer speed question would be a grain loss monitor. I had a Dickey-John glm-200 for 8 yrs, and it was great. Actually, I just traded and kept it for new combine. I feel it paid for itself in about 2 days of cutting sb under tough conditions. In corn, just run at the speed that keeps losses lowest. In 200 bu corn w 1144 head, it was about 6.5 km on the digital speedometer, about 7.5 in 150 bu corn.
