We have done this. In 760 model machines, we have been able to make this work successfully in virtually all machines. In 860 model machines, we've been sucessful about 1_2 of the time. We've checked fan RPM. cutoff points, measured and compared virtually every angle and component when comparing the two shoe areas, and are still baffled when comparing airfoil chaffer operation between the older and newer model.I think the only thing we didn't check was tire size. Actually, this was a mistake, since that can make a difference. At this point, I can't say that I'd recommend an airfoil chaffer in an 860 or 865. Hope this helps.
