Combines Waiting For Answer

Dear sameer, I can't be of much help to you, but I am wondering what a model 3640 would be comparable to here in the United States.

In reference to the 3640 that Sameer is looking for, I think that it is the mid sized model of a series of combines produced in Brazil.It is probably not in production now. I think it has about a 42" cylinder. I don't think that it is related to combines produced in North America. It was probably an updated version of a smaller combine that was most likely originally designed in Germany and produced in different sizes in France and Germany in the 70's and 80's.I believe it's big brother,the 5650, with a 50" cylinder was sold for a short time in the U.S. and Canada when Massey started selling the Claas combines. I doubt any were sold in the U.S. or Canada. Red Painter
