Call the manufacturer or check their webb site www.loewenmfg.com. The smaller the grain, the better job they do.

Check with Will Mfg. gwill@holtonks.net They build an airfoil which works in all crops and has much more capacity in larger crops than others built. Provide your email address and I'll pass on more info.

The air foils will do a good job for you. They allow more air to move the junk out the back, and larger holes for the grain to fall through. You bottom sieve will have to be open more to allow more air through. Sloans also has the adjustable air foil, which you can set like any other chaffer according to threshing conditions. You may want to consider that.

You can see a photo on the loewen webb site. It has curved fingers, and will perform similar to the solid air foil, except this one you can shut down entirely, - it is adjustable just like your long finger.
