CHECK THE ACTIVATION RElAY IN CONTROl BOX. POINTS GET BAD. THE RElAY CAN BE TAKEN APART, AND THE POINTS SANDED. AlSO CHECK THE WIRING WHERE THE HEAD PlUGS INTO THE FEEDER HOUSE, SOME TIMES THE WIRE'S GET BRITTlE AND THE COVERING CRACKS, I HAD BOTH THINGS HAPPEN TO MINE, AlSO AN 82 MODEl.

Thanks for the advice. This morning I took off the activation relay, tapped it on my hand a few times,reinstalled, and it worked perfect the rest of the day. Next time it goes haywire I will do as you suggest and sand the points. Thanks again for your reply. Its great to be able to ask advice from people that have run these machines and have probably had the same problems.
