I would say you would be making a wise investment if you purchase a TR combine. We run a TR97 and a TR86, and both have great capacity, we run a 25' grain head on the 97 but it has more than enough capacity for a 30'. As far as comparing a 97 to a 96 they are pretty much the same, but look for a 96 with a Ford engine, they preform much better than a Cat. Daily service is easy and strait forward. As far as reliability we have 1200hrs on our 97 and 2500hrs on our 86 with only a few minor problems, which has alot to do with a well built machine and preventative maintance. We would definitly buy another.
