Combines 994 header

We run a 36 ft 994 on a TX68 plus header . I estimate a 15% increace in capacity ..... however the reason we like it so much in australia is that in average crops we don't have to be running at high ground speeds to load the header . The 994 is alot dearer than say a macdon front but it is alot heavier and i think it is the pick of the draper fronts (we have tryed a few ) the only advantge the macdons have is their v guide self tracking drapers . My advice with the 36ft front is to put a third ram under the feeder house from word go . NH australia now supplies the kit standard with every front sold . Not fitting it is a sure fire way to bugger your hydralics over time . I wouldn't be scared to run a 42ft front if you have big enough paddocks . while it looks big at first after a couple of days everthing else is small.
