Combines Nichols TX Concave

We've been hardfacing narrow space concaves, then removng 1_2 of the wires for separation, closing the openings left with small stove bolts, Then installing a whitecap plate under the front portion to hold thresh. This has worked well in all crops to date.

I have never heard of this Nichols TX concave. Is it heavier than the standard concave from NHIJ Can it be used for doing corn and soybeansIJ Where can I get some information on itIJ Thank you in advance.
