I read that book a while back and I assume that the company NOT mentioned was Claas as later on in the book it mentions the trials work done and that the bi-rotor was beaten by one of the other machines and I can only assume that it was a Claas 480 as no other combine would compete with that bi-rotor by the sounds of things. But then again I'm Scottish so what would I know about tough combining conditions. The track system on the bi-rotor looks interesting though doesn't it nice and simple looking and it looks as though it would be nice and maneuverable.
