this is abit late,but heres what were doing to ours. take the 2 inside finss off.move the 2nd one to the 3rd position and redrill rear hole(the one w_ the big bolt).move 3rd fin to the 5th position and the same w_ drilling. now you should have a fin on every other place. do same thing on both sides. also going to add abit of metal to bottom of chopper under knives to extend the length some to help keep it up twords the fins. they say this will help spread betterIJIJIJ will seeIJ next crop is soybeans this fall in s.d. layed all our straw down this year in wheat so did not have choppers up.
