USDA administrator hosts crop insurance forum Feb. 13

Bill Murphy, administrator for USDA?s Risk Management Agency in Washington D.C., will conduct a roundtable forum on crop insurance on Monday, Feb. 13 at the Wild Horse Pass Casino and Hotel on the Gila River Indian Community.

Murphy will be joined by Alan Stephens, State Director for USDA Rural Development, Robert Piceno, State Executive Director of USDA Farm Service Agency, Cyrus Sokoll, Assistant State Conservationist for USDA Arizona Natural Resources Conservation Services and Dave DeWalt, Deputy Director of USDA Arizona National Agriculture Statistics Service. Murphy will be talking about crop insurance and the other agencies will provide information on the many services/funding opportunities within their program areas.
