Combines short crop in 1480

There is an upper limit stop ( for rocks ) and a lower limit stop on the feeder house bottom roller on both sides of the feeder house..if the lower limit is not clear down it will cause problems in light short grain...if you lower it the feeeder house noise will increase while empty or lightly loaded which is why it is kept raised when it will feed OK...if that does not solve the problem look at adding a link to the chain to set bottom roller as far forward as possible but check manual for measurement as there is a limit ...good luck

I have developed a positive feed drum for the the front elevator chain this has solved the problem of repeating at the front and gives an even feed in all crops.
