From what I have "snooped" out, CIH was running the Arcus in fields in the western US. I thought it was cool from what I saw on the overseas website, and figured it to be the next Axial Flow. From what I learned, CIH will send the Arcus down the same road as the famous IH 2+2 tractor. Scrapped.

Our local Case dealer here in UK gave us one of those things to evaluate it's performance. It did 25mph on the road to our farm, very stable and nice to drive on the road (front wheel steer). Had a 22ft header on the front and in 1 month it cut a grand total of about 70 acres. It was hopeless! To my knowledge there was never a single one sold here in Case colours. It could not cope with harvesting 4.5 tonnes per acre wheat crops, it was just too much for it. I think it was sent over to US to give it a go in some thinner crops but at the end of the day it was a bit of a no hoper. Interesting project though. MC
