I'm wondering if you will really gain back the capacity you lost by just going with the larger headIJ You will be putting 50% more crop into the machine. You may be going so slow that that productivity won't change any. Tried to find my spec book, but can't locate it right off hand. I'm not sure the smaller feeder house is going to take the torque of the bigger head. The hydraulics could also be a little on the short side. Remeber you are also going to need the long auger for unloading. Not sure this is of much help. Dealers are sitting on some used 9610's. Around here, NCOH, it is easier for them to sell a 95 than a 96. With things being tight, you might find a dealer willing to work with you. Good luck.
