Combines Perforated Screens

So far these have only been run on JD combines. I can see it working well on CASEIHC, but for Gleaner, it would be a different story, as the entire feeder house would have to be taken off and a retrofit done. On the JD and CASEIHC, you can take off the bottom sheet of the feeder house and install the perforated one, whereas the Gleaner feederhouse is entirely one huge piece, with no bottom to take out and replace. With the JD, sliding doors are also added, so that the perforated area can be closed off when in other crops where perforation is not necessary. In beans, this perforation on a JD9600, dropped 150 pounds of dirt an acre. This is a special obround perforation, using thicker 12 gage material, which worked a lot better than the round hole styles. you need "cookie sheets" over both perf screens in wheat the perf screens are to geet weed seed or dirt out of beans. some leave out cookie sheets out in corn to let fines on the ground instead of in their storage bins.

bottom cookie sheet is spot welded in, is there a less permanent way to take the sheets in and out as we do both small grains and beans-corn.

Most of them are bolted in with 1_4" bolts. 3 or 4 across the back.
