Well you could try taking some bars out of the concave but if you are breaking the corn it sounds like you have the rotor and the concave set to close together but at 30% you will have some breaking becasue it not fully dried out if you can wait let it get to about 23% and shell you will see it shells a lot easier and will save you from being docked at the mill or save you money dring it yourself.

Try dropping the front adjustable section of your concave open about 1_8" to 3_16" or thereabouts...should help cobs roll thru...Also, don't know the year of your machine, but first ones had concaves which were built with the top of the crossbar too high above the round suspension rods...any depth over about 3_8" won't let cobs roll easily and can cause them to split.. this can plug area in front of crossbars..if this happens, thresh is lost in the front, causing you to run too tight...running too tight will require more cylinder speed...causing grain crackage... Why do you want your corn so wetIJ At 35 to 40 percent, it probably hasn't even reached full maturity or Black layer.
