Combines Corn head speed R50 vs R52 62

You must be running about 10 mph. Seriously, I run a 6 row Hugger on an R60 at 5-6 mph with no problems except the rear feed chain keeps jumping a tooth but maybe that problem is solved. Do you use Auto Reel Speed on your corn headIJ I do and it never approaches max speed and I think it is set at 1.25 but I can't say for sure. We haven't started picking yet. My friend has the same setup you have and he has never complained about capacity. Sorry, I have no idea if there is a difference in drive speed. Tom

R50_R52_R62 all have the same speed. There are speed up sprockets for the corn head available from the dealer, in the parts book.
