Combines acres per hour E versus F

Personally, I believe that you could get more acres out of an "E" per day than you could an "F". The reason that I am saying this is because an "F" can fit a 15' head. This is a max for an "F" but it can take it. You have to move real slow otherwise you will throw a lot out the back end by way of the walkers and shoe. Now an "E" for example can only fit a 13' head and can handle it with no problem. We have an "E" and seldom are we not able to run 90 bushel_acre wheat in low second. It is a real eater if she's set right. A help on the "E" is to get the grain out of the shoe as fast as possible. I put a larger sprocket on the drive shaft of the clean grain elevator. This really helps in wheat, somewhat in beans, a whole lot in corn when you have the corn chaffer in. Of course these are only my personal findings and there might also be a way to make an "F" chew also. i know of a lot of satisfied "E" and "F" owners.
