Combines N6 speed change

Nate, Changing the drive sheave on the engine and recalibrating the pump for lower rated speed is an excellent idea, but, don't do it unless remove the injection pump and have it recalibrated by a reputable pump shop.Explain to them what you want to do so they can set the pump on a test stand for correct fuel delivery and advance. As for the cylinder growling at 600 rpm. This sounds about right if you are still running reverse bars,no stacked helical bars above rear feed conveyor,no wires removed from concave, concave that is setup with a wedge effect, and only two paddles on the end of the rotor. This system relies on a smooth flow from left to right, and without any of the above mods.,performance will not be up to expectations.Your 4-4 1_2 mph in beans will probably be what you see out of the 8-30 C.head in good corn with a box stock processor.Spend a rainy day(if you get one),$500 in parts, and a days worth a labor. You will be surprised what you can unleash with this beast for this investment.Good luck, Hyper Harvest II. P.S. The above investment assumes you have good cylinder bars and a sharp and square concave.
