light indicates that the a_c system has tripped the high or low pressure limit switches. You should check a couple of things first before calling the mechanic in. -make sure the air intake filter is clean the one to the right of the cab behind service door (it is ususlly plugged) -check the foam recirculation filter in the cab behind the seat. Don't lay rags or jacket behind the seat as it can block the air flow and cause your problem too. -limit switch could be bad, or as mentioned low on freon
