if the shaft is wore any u cant hold the roll pin,,,,we cut a 5_16 solid gr 8 bolt off and use the chrome sprocket with the taper hub and it will not shear it..any questions e mail me for part no if u dont understand what i mean
I had the same problem and it would even shear grade 8 bolts about every 30 acres. I found that the shaft wasn't worn but the hole was worn in the sprocket so it didn't fit tight on the shaft. I replaced the sprocket and it ran fine this season in 600 acres of corn.
