Combines Green stripe or Orange strip

The green stripe machines and heads came first, right after the merger (1986 or so) then they switched the stripe color to orange, at what [point I am not sure. I see an orange stripe F-series flex head for sale in our farm trader book, They must have made new heads availiable after the F,landM series machines production ceased.

Mark, By the information that I have run across you have a late 1983 or 1984 model header. I have an operators manual for 1985 headers and it says for F headers 70001-72000. I know that when Deutz aquired Allis-Chalmers that even if the dealer had a new hold over piece of equipment on their lot,they were to re-decal it with the Deutz-Allis logo.
