Combines Deutz injection pump timing

I'll add a couple questions: I need to do a valve set on my '87 R60, what order are the cylinders numberedIJ, what are valve clearance settingsIJ, any tips for this job.

The injection pump timing on the 6 cyl. engines is quite different than the U S made engines. I am not sure about the V 8's. If you can find a technician that has done this before or a good tech manual I will advise using them. Adjusting valves of the engine are backwards as the number 1 cylinder is on the back of air cooled engines, the flywheel end.

What serie is your engineIJ 413 or 513 IJ

I would strongly recommend buying an AGCO service manual before doing this type of work. The cost of a service manual is a drop in the bucket compared with the value a combine. Tom in MN

SOUND ADVISE!!!!!!!!!! I have always found that a tech manual will pay for iltself.. BTW There is a difference in BF8l513 and 8l513..
