I was looking at buying a '84 24'rigid header for the l2. It has the U2 pickup reel. One fellow I was talking to said not to buy it because the U2 doesn't work very well with this header. Can anyone tell me if this is true or notIJ Also heard that U2 has a 5 bat reel for swathers and a 6 bat for combines. Would appreciate any help you can give me on this. Thanks, Terry

I have a 19984 N6 with broken spring in the head reverser. It was going to cost $1400.00 for a new one, which is more than I want to spend. Are there other ways or other reversers to useIJ I've been without it for years and would love to have it back.

Not this year, but for the 2002 season, I'd like to combine some corn (been picking and cribbing everything up to now, running out of crib capacity). lots of 2RW heads around here, but I'm on 30" rows, so they don't do me any good. I figured I'd start looking now for a 3RN black head, but don't see anything around here in New Jersey or eastern PA. There are quite a few JD 343 heads around here, opinions on using one of those with a Bish adapterIJ
