GATOR, We years ago mounted a 1253A Deere row crop header on an R-60 and got the adaptor and drives from Harvey Bish at Giltner NE. His son or sons are running the header business there now I expect. There may be less expensive ways to mount your header, but Bish's are experts at putting any head on any color machine. I wouldn't be surprized if they may have a website. Good luck!

We ran a 653A on our 84 N6 with the Bish adaptor. The head is not good on point rows, but they are a good working head. They run smooth and fast. If you buy one, figure on keeping it for there is not much resale on them. Soybeans feed into them great, even if they are down. You will have to drive your combine much more then you do with a sickle and reel head. You have to keep it on the row to do the best job.
