Combines R 42 feederhouse slips

I don't know if your machine has this, but our 99 R-52 has. Take the feeder house cover off and look at the rear sprockets for the front chain. On ours there is an adjustable plate that sets between the outside of the housing, and the sprocket. Slide these towards the sprocket leaving about .030". We had the same problem, but since moving these, problem solved. By the way there is nothing in our owners manual about these.
