I've ran deere now for 20 years and I can't even be talked into an STS. Now, We've asked 1 other guy to report back and he never did. Do you cut wheatIJ After harvest will you report back about that new combineIJ I am curious to hear from people that are running them. Did they tweak that rotor in there or is it still the same basic design that white hadIJ Good looking machine. I am colorblind. The only Green I'm almighty to is the one with dead presidents on it. Yes its the White rotor only updated. We do straight cut wheat and have around 500 acres this year. You can count on me reporting back here with the results too. I'm on Dave Davenports planner for a visit during wheat harvest also so it'll be nice to get the "Massey combine specialist" to give me some pointers. I think he just wants to see it run in 2008 soft wheat myself! We'll be some of the first to run it in a Massey this year.

I'm a firm believer in buying the best equipment for the best price. I come from a strong Massey back ground. my father was the set up and delivery man for the biggest Massey Harris Dealer in western Canada. back in the days of personalized service, he would setup and deliver the combine and stay with it for a complete day at harvest so that the new owner learned how it should be set and what to expect from it.. and when it broke down my dad was the service man that went out and fixed it. I had an Uncle who worked for massey harris as the parts manager at the western Canadian warehouse, my brother was a machanic for a Massey Ferguson Dealer so needless to say we had nothing but Massey on the farm... But times change and margins in ag have been small, so we now have many colors of Red and even a new Green tractor on the farm.. but it would be hard for me to justify not having a Massey Combine on the place, I'd pay more for one as they are the simplest out there.. everything else is determined on cost..
