I was hoping someone would reply so I could get some tips too. We are running a new-to-me Challenger 670 in 15 to 19% corn yielding between 100 and 150 bu. acre, all dryland on upland. Cylinder speed 300, concave at 1", fan at 1050 rpm. Sample is excellent, but I'm losing a little more out the machine that I would like. I'd like to hear some "experienced" opinions also.

Are you sure it's loss from the combine or shelling at the head. I know when my corn gets that dry, I get alot of head shelling with my hugger head. (I have a Gleaner but I enjoy reading the posts from all the sites and hope I can help out once in awhile).........Dan
