Combines 860 canola settings

The following seems to work for me as initial settings on a MF 860. As a rule the admixture is between 0.5 to 1 percent. Concave front clearance on second last detent. (Go to last detent if you are confident of not getting the cylinder blocked.) Rear concave clearance about three quarters of an inch. Cylinder speed between 500 and 1000 depending on how ripe the canola is, splitting grain problems, and loading the cylinder too much. Fan somewhere about the middle of the range. Tweak the speed to get a clean sample but not blow the seed out the back. Deflectors as set for cereals. Top seive-front nearly fully open (as opposed to other advice). Top seive-rear, middle sieve, bottom seive front and rear all fully closed. Hope I am not to late with the information. let me know how you go.
