Hi djack, I would consider the torque hub update to be critical having experienced two snapring failures. The snapring (233308) is discarded. The hub (690664) is machined down to the depth of the snapring groove. Thread is then cut onto the hub and an appropriate nut is made to fit the thread. A locking setscrew and or loctite is used to guarantee that this nut will not work loose. I had a local machine shop do this. Cost about $100.
