Combines Petterson Screen

I have not combined soybeans but I have harvested edible beans, peas, corn, sunflowers, canola, wheat and barley and the only crops I would recommend the Peterson sieve for are wheat, barley, and canola. For the rest I would say you would be better off with a deep tooth corn chaffer.

I found by putting a round holed sieve in the bottom it eliminates a lot of problems. No more problems with cracks or pods in the bin.

yup, I'd agree, only use it for the small stuff. Too much grain loss in high yields. Get the right sieves for the right crop. It'll pay for itself in a day.

From my experience (I'm in combine sales business) we install Petterson Screen only if farmer has a lot of canola only then it really pays off.
