USED TRACTOR VALUES: STILL GOING UP
We're not slowing down yet. Nope, used Tractor values are still RISING. More proof came today in an email from Chris Stanton with Stanton's Auctioneers & Realtors of Vermontville, MI. They had a nice farm auction on June 11th...here are a few highlights:

1989 Ford TW-5 MFWD tractor (Series 2) with 1723 hours: $25,000
1989 Ford 6610 MFWD Tractor with 3200 hours: $13,750
Ford 7740 Tractor, Powerstar SLE, 2363 hours, Ford 7210 Loader: $17,000
Deutz 5220 4WD compact tractor with 890 hours, Loader: $6,200
Gehl 3610 Skid Steer with 3858 hours: $6,500
JD 328 Hay Baler w/#40 JD kicker: $4,000
Kuhn FC243RTC discbine, new April 2011, <100 acres: $11,500

...$25,000 is the highest auction sale price I've seen on a Ford TW-5 Tractor in 14 1/2 years.

2011 JD 1780 6/11 PLANTER SOLD FOR BIG $$'s ON OHIO AUCTION
My friends Rick & Brad Williams of Rick Williams Auction Co. in southwest Ohio had a really nice farm retirement auction last Saturday (June 16, 2012) for Barney & Carol Yeager. Maybe you saw the Youtube preview video we did last week on this sale? I just posted a new Youtube video featuring the sweet 2011 JD 1780 6/11 planter sold on this auction...Barney paid $41,800 for this Planter NEW last year....how CLOSE will the bidding come to that price? Check out the video to find out for yourself: http://www.machinerypete.com/Blog/Default.aspx?ppovId=214
