1998 CaseIH 8930 MFWD tractor with 2990 hours sold for $84,500 (new record) on northwest Iowa farm sale Saturday - 11/12/2012

1998 CASEIH 8930 SOLD FOR RECORD PRICE
Wow, another new record auction price Saturday (Nov. 10, 2012) on a very nice farm retirement auction in northwest Iowa...a 1998 CaseIH 8930 MFWD tractor with 2990 hours sold for $84,500...that is $10,500 higher than the previous record sale price of $74,000 set ALL THE WAY BACK ON A 12/21/98 dealer auction in southwest Missouri for a 1997 model with ONLY 5 HOURS! Here are a couple other sale prices from the northwest Iowa (Archer, IA) farm sale Saturday:

1998 CaseIH 8930 MFWD tractor with 2990 hours: $84,500 (new record)
1990 CaseIH 7110 2WD tractor with 2540 hours, 1 owner: $51,500 (2nd highest price ever)
1993 CaseIH 5230 MFWD tractor with 2953 hours: $48,500 (new record price)
1970 IHC 856 diesel tractor with 6960 hours, cab, NF: $11,000
CaseIH 4800 24' field cultivator: $10,750
CaseIH 496 22'9" disk: $12,500

Another new record sale price of $48,500 on the CaseIH 5230...a whopping $9,500 higher than the previous high auction sale price I've seen over the past 16+ years. Looks like the year end 2012 time frame is shaping up as I thought it would beginning back in mid August when I noticed auction sale prices jumping HIGHER on all types of good condition used equipment. Many more VERY NICE farm auctions coming here rest of November & December....what's coming next?.....stay tuned.
