Combines 1680 Soybean Settings

Just bought Used "early 1989" 1680. Can anyone tell me the speed settings for soybeans, rotor ect... Thanks

We have long shoe, 91 1680 with Cummins an speciality rotor, Assumming you have spec rotor, Dry beans you can run as low as 550 on rotor speed, 2 to 3 on concave indicator, Fan speed 1100, Tuff green stems, damper beans, tighten concave up to 1, speed rotor up to as high as 850and keep ground speed 2.7 to 3mph, hope this is of some help, Forget the book tryign to set amchine, as its as far off as nite an day

Depending on crop conditions- Dry Soybeans 13% moisture. We would start at 450 Rotor, concave on 3.5, chaffer at about 5_8, shoe at 1_2 and fan around 900 on a 1990 1680 with speciality rotor
