Combines Honeybee and Macdon Draper Headers

On the MacDon you can change the guard angle on the fly. THat keeps the rocks out by making the guards point up slightly. MacDon's Adapter (Model 873) have a better float system that make it possible to cut right on the ground without pushing mud. In standing cereals the headers will go toe to toe. Just one question, why not go wider for the 2188. losses at the header, rotor and chaffer are typically increase with speed. If you can slow the ground speed and keep the combine full the unit is very likely to do a better job.
