you are also looking to see if there is wear in the rotor area, look to see if they have replaced the wear bars on the elephant ears. look at the lower right hand side of the cone, you are looking for holes and wear. look at the rear of the rotor to see what the stripper bars look like. you probably want the standard rotor unless you are harvesting beans. check to make sure the rear beater isn't worn out or have holes in it.

spinning the oppisite direction could simply mean you need to replace rasp bars too
