Combines header problem

Adjust your accumulater.Turn the valve to what header you have on the combine.If you have a deere there is a sticker behind the valve,sometimes the sticker is wrong,work with the valve a little..The accumulater is on the left side..There could be other problems,but more likely the valve is adjusted wrong.

Try adjusting the valve on the hydraulic block for the header control on the 96xx combines.

Have you run this head beforeIJ Do you have lateral tiltIJ Is the adjustable filler between header and feeder tucked under header bottom to to prevent a damIJ (factory has them on the top). Do you need the 4" flighting into finger areaIJ (likely)There is barley flighting that will extent 7" flighting further in. You need a smooth floor between header and feeder. You likely need the 4" or 7" flighting beings the fingers alone will not feed the material between the auger and chain. First move that darn filler to underside of auger floor.

we moved the fill in plate underneath and moved the top adjustable stripper plate closer to the auger no more problems
