Combines corn head conversion

I think you can get a Bish head changer to put just about any header on any combine.

The head could probably be made to work using a Bish adaptor but my opinion is the Deere head is far superior, ( enclosed gear boxes, no chain drives, no front snapping roll bearings, etc.) You can probably find a decent high tin head at auction for 2-3000. You'll have to spend at least $700.00-$900.00 to make the conversion from Massey to JD. You could probably sell your Massey head to someone and use that plus the money saved to convert it to obtain a Deere head. Good luck.

about 4-5 hour job. need cutting torch, welder, tape measure , instruction reader to keep you on task and kit. works fine.
