if your combine is older than 93 check the cab ground inside the right side of cab under the air duct this would be loose if you go down road and have light switch on and engine cuts out, also do you have greenstar on this machine, on later models you have to take wires out of 6 way plug so wires won't ground out

I'm having the same problem, howver I did find that one of the pin connectors behind the fuel pump (this one would push on with a threaded locknut)was losing contact. This would cause the machine to shut down without warning. As for the voltage light, still working on that.

the connector behind the fuel pump is one culprit one of the others is the large one on the back wall of the engine compartment must be clean and tight also check the small wire coming from the alternater hope this solves the prob did on ours cheers

inside the cab wall plate check to see that your cab ground could be loose 89-92 its under the a'c hose inside wall plate the newer ones are to the left of the wall plate also if using a two way radio deere had some armrest boards with the same frequency as your radio your dealer should help you with this
