Our year 2000, 9650 four wheel drive started leaking oil at about 50 hours even though we had not used the four wheel drive yet. The local dealer rebuilt it two times and it did the very same thing, again. On the third rebuild, they contacted Deere and found some sealing washers were installed backwards. The four wheel drive was built incorrectly at the factory and when it was rebuilt, they installed the washers the same way and it kept leaking. We now have 1159 hours on the machine and it has not given us a bit of trouble. Hope this helps.
