Combines TX TR vs STS

last fall at the state fair they had a TR99 with an eight row head running with a JD 9650STS with a twelve row head. I'd say the TR ran quite alot faster and had a better sample but unfortunately they could not get a twelve row head transported and set up to run on the TR in time for the fair.

We had a STS9750 trialled for a day against a TR98 and TX66 all with 36 foot fronts in a 3-4 T_Ha wheat crop, and the sts absolutely killed the other 2 during the heat of the day, but by 10pm that night, the tx was beating the sts because of the tough conditions, and to do the same job, the sts was using 450 odd HP, and really working, whereas the tx is only 290hp i think, and it just chugged along easily! hope that helps!
