red toad, That's a problem with 2188s. 1997 year model are the worst. I've heard there is a slow down kit for the 1997s so they don't shake so fast. Also when you put the sieves back in, be sure to use locktite on the bolts that hold them in. K.A.

we tried locktite and still came loose.. do we fix or do we trade IJIJ have 1500 seperator hrs. where do we get slow down kit.. thanks for help

The slowdown kit is sold by caseih. For 2188 the part no. is 303188a1. If your machine does not have it it needs it. You will also probably need a shaker drive pivot support kit before long. Part no. B95353. If you have had the bolts loose through the seive hangers, make certain the hangers are in the center of the stroke of travel before tightening. If the bushing is in good shape and centered, The rubber should run out of stretch before the seive hammers against metal. We have never used lock tite but we have always used a jam nut.

less than 50 hrs after replacing the rubber bushing on left side they all are wore out again.the left shaker arm broke the holder the last time in 50 hrs. replaced the other side 150 hrs ago .we are still having problems.left frame rail is also broke . and top sieve is also broke thanks for for coments
