Combines 9600 CORN SETTINGS

Run the concave up closed and check your zero setting on the rear....should be about 1_8".. if not, you'll probably need to adjust it up slightly....then drop open in front as wide as you can (probably about 5_8") while taking grain completely off the cob...this should allow you to maintain a good load at around 400 to 500 cyl. RPM at around 4 1_2 mph or a little faster and not break up cobs too badly....Initial chaffer setting...about 5_8" opening, initial sieve setting about 3_8" to 1_2"...precleaner about 3_8" to 1_2"...Fan speed...start around 900 RPM....If you have corn filler plates in your cylinder, I'd suggest removing them since they can shatter cobs and keep the cylinder from pulling as well as it should, requiring faster cylinder speed.....Hope this helps
