Well first of all there are 50 cubic feet of hay in a 4x4 roll. There are 79 cubic feet of hay in a 5x4. I also put different grasses out of different fields in the different rolls. Those 2 that i weighed a couple years ago were weighed for the ag extension office just for an estimate.

4x4 weighs about 450. 5x4 (5 diameter) weighs about 950. At least that's what mine weigh.
