Is the Potentiometer the "black one" I learned this with a 1020 bean head. The head would be jumpy like you are describing. The parts dept. would give me a pot with the "clear plastic" which for the 1660 like mine needs the black pot. Now all of the above applies to header height control.......Jack Another thought as I read you post. I had FT just installed on a 1020 and Paul told me about having the "pots" ohamed correctly.....Maybe your FT pot in not usable for HHC.....later.
