sounds just like my n7, but mine does it a little in 3rd and a lot in 4th. was moving fields, took the county road which goes through a steep coulee, and had to down shift going up the other side. was not working the engine but it was just like the hydro was slipping. dont know if this is normal, but it is really annoying. chad

N7 has a valve block that could be needing a reseal job. Also a spring loaded rod assembly keeps the cylinder blocks from floating. It could be rod isn't doing its trick. 4th gear isn't going to be the strongest when running up big long hill but third quite a bit better. Might want to compare with neighbors machine to get a feel for normal. Good luck
